In addition to the described historical landmarks and natural beauty of the macro-location of 7 Kaštela, this location is also characterized by excellent transport connectivity. The proximity to access points on the A1 highway (Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik), the fast road Trogir-Split, the Old Adriatic Highway, local roads, the airport, and the closeness of the cities of Split and Trogir are key reasons for positioning the residential settlement in this area.
Access to the Kaštela Garden Residence location is possible by three means: by road, air, and sea. The residential settlement location is 18 km from the A1 highway and the Prgomet interchange, and 32 km from the Dugopolje interchange. It is 4 km from the airport, 18 km from the city of Split, and 9 km from Trogir. Kaštela Marina is located 7 km away.
The current perspective of the excellent micro-location of the Kaštela Garden Residence residential settlement should certainly be expanded and viewed in the context of two significant events that will take place shortly after the completion of the construction of this housing complex. Namely, the project, which was declared a project of strategic state interest for the Republic of Croatia six years ago, consists of two key phases. The first is that Kaštelani will get their own exit from the Zagreb – Split – Dubrovnik highway (Vučevica exit), as they currently use either the Prgomet exit or the Dugopolje exit. The completion of this phase also includes the construction of a tunnel through Kozjak and the construction of a connecting road from the Vučevica interchange to Kaštel Kambelovac. The second significant part of the project is the construction of a nine-kilometer route with a bridge over Kaštela Bay and a road to the Split city port. This way, Split will gain a new entrance to the city and a faster exit to the highway. Residents of Kaštela, on the other hand, will have a fast exit to the highway on one side, and on the other side, a 10-minute quick access to Split, making Kaštela, in addition to being an already highly attractive place to live, an attractive location for the residents of Split as well.
